matt, when you are about to check out you can type in a code that will deduct some $ from the price total, but the bluetooth thingy will be gone, i've heard that some people managed to get the price to drop by $175 USD, you think this is true?

I did see two different coupon deals for the N97. I found them both on Twitter, using a search for "N97 coupon" in Tweetdeck.
The first one was the good one, that supposedly knocked the price down to $500 something. That was apparently an error, and I didn't hear of anyone getting that deal.
The second coupon code was to get the N97 without the free bluetooth headset for about $620. I saw that deal, but I'm still not sure I can afford to spend that on my next device.
There are supposed to be big deals at the Nokia Flagship stores in the US this weekend. Maybe they'll have another N97 promo code. Watch Twitter!
